Stock conversions and recipes

Conversions let you transform stock items into other items or into sellable products — ideal for restaurants, bakeries and workshops.

Recipes Define a recipe once: e.g. 1 cake = 500 g flour + 4 eggs + 200 g sugar. When you produce or sell the cake, ingredients are deducted automatically.

One-off conversions Convert quantities between stock items (e.g. a 50 kg bag into 50 × 1 kg portions) from the conversion screen.

Tips

• Keep units consistent (define items in the unit you actually measure).
• Review recipes when supplier packaging changes.
