Scan barcodes with the camera

AKILI can scan barcodes using your device's camera — no extra hardware needed.

Where it works

• POS — scan an item to add it straight to the cart.
• Product form — scan to fill the barcode/SKU field when creating or editing a product.
• Restock — scan to find the item you are receiving.

How to use

1. Tap the barcode icon next to the search field.
2. Allow camera access when asked.
3. Point the camera at the barcode — detection is automatic.

A dedicated USB/Bluetooth scanner also works: it types into the same search fields.
