Akili can now answer questions about the workshop and the calendar, not just sales and stock. Ask in plain language — no menus, no filters.

About the cars

  • "Who's in the shop right now?" — how many cars are open, how many are past their promised time, and how many customers still owe you an answer.
  • "What car does Awa drive?" or "Look up plate ABC 1234" — finds the vehicle by plate, VIN (even just the last few digits), make, model or the customer's name.
  • "Show me the history for that Camry" — every repair order and inspection on that car, newest first.
  • "What's on RO 42?" — the jobs, what the customer said about each, and the totals.
  • "What did the inspection find?" — the green/yellow/red counts per walk-around.
  • "How much declined work is sitting on the table?" — the money customers already turned down, and which follow-ups are due today.
  • "What canned jobs do we have?" — your saved job library.

About the diary

  • "Anything waiting for me to accept?" — booking requests, including the ones that came in from your website.
  • "What's on this week?" — everything scheduled in the next seven days.

What it will do, and what it won't

Akili can move a car along the board (Estimate → In progress → Completed) and add a new vehicle. Both appear as a card you check and confirm — nothing is saved until you tap Confirm, and you can edit every field first.

It will not close or cancel a repair order: closing generates the customer's invoice, so that stays on the repair-order screen. It will not accept or reschedule a booking either, because that confirms a time to a real person.

It never texts anyone. Akili has no way to send an SMS, an email or a WhatsApp message. If you ask it to text a customer their estimate, it will tell you which screen to do it from. Sending is always something you do yourself.

What your customers can see

Prices Akili quotes are the retail prices on the order. It never mentions what a part cost you, your markup, your supplier, or which technician did the work — so you can read its answer out loud at the counter, or turn the screen round.

If a feature is switched off

The workshop questions need the auto-shop module and the diary questions need calendar. If your business doesn't have one, Akili says so and points you at Settings → Modules rather than pretending your data is missing.
